Equipment

  • 1 Air fryer

Ingredients

The Garlic Butter Toss

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer:  Preheat your air fryer to 200°C for 5 minutes. Getting the basket hot is the secret to a quick sear without overcooking the meat.
  • Season the Cubes:  Pat the steak cubes completely dry with kitchen towel. In a bowl, toss the cubes with the oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until evenly coated.
  • Air Fry:  Tip the cubes into the air fryer basket in a single layer with space between each piece. Cook at 200°C for 4 to 6 minutes for medium-rare to medium, shaking the basket halfway through at the 3-minute mark.
  • Aproximate cook times for desired steak doneness:
    4 minutes – rare
5 minutes – medium rare (recommended)
    6 minutes – medium
    7 minutes – medium well
    8 minutes – well done
  • Toss in Garlic Butter:  While the steak cooks, melt the butter in a heatproof bowl and stir in the minced garlic and chopped parsley. As soon as the steak bites come out of the air fryer, tip them into the garlic butter and toss to coat. Let rest for 2 minutes before serving.
